Jessie James has built a career that spans stages, screens, and studios worldwide, working as a performer, teacher, and choreographer. With a foundation rooted in intensive training at Center Stage Performing Arts Studio, she began her professional dance career at age 18, with credits including Odyssey Dance Theater, The Donny & Marie Show residency in Las Vegas, The Daytime Emmys, High School Musical 3, X Factor UK, The Greatest Dancer UK, and various national and international tours.

Alongside performing, Jessie has taught and choreographed across the USA and Europe for over a decade, emphasizing intention, musicality, and storytelling in her work. She has been featured in Dance Teacher Magazine and has taught at renowned studios including Pineapple and BASE Studios in London, as well as in Denmark, Ireland, Mexico, Slovakia, and Spain. She is currently on faculty at RADIX Dance Convention.

Her choreography accolades include IDA Choreographer of the Year, 2026 A.C.E Awards First Runner-up, Choreographers Cup finalist, and multiple National Choreography awards. Beyond teaching, Jessie has self-produced, directed, and choreographed several short dance films, including Half A Man and Lost, both selected for screenings across the USA.

​Committed to supporting the whole dancer, Jessie is also a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor and owner of hellohummingbyrd Pilates, where she's passionate about cross-training dancers for strength, injury prevention, and long-term career sustainability.
