
Jessie James is a versatile dance professional whose career spans performing, teaching, and choreography. She began dancing professionally at 18, with credits including Odyssey Dance Theater, The Donny & Marie Show Residency in Las Vegas, The Daytime Emmys, High School Musical 3, X Factor UK, The Greatest Dancer UK, and various national and international tours.
Alongside performing, Jessie has taught and choreographed across the USA and Europe for the past decade, emphasizing intention, musicality, and storytelling in her work. She was featured in Dance Teacher Magazine and has taught at renowned studios like Pineapple and BASE Studios in London, as well as in Denmark, Ireland, Mexico, Slovakia, and Spain. She is currently on faculty at RADIX Dance Convention.
Her accolades include IDA Choreographer of the Year, two time A.C.E Awards finalist, Choreographers Cup finalist, and multiple National Choreography awards. Beyond teaching, Jessie has self-produced, directed, and choreographed short dance films, including "Half A Man" and "Lost," both selected for screeings across the USA.
In addition to her teaching and choreography work, Jessie is a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor and owner of hellohummingbyrd Pilates. She is passionate about cross-training dancers for strength, injury prevention, and long-term career sustainability.
